HE WILL BE 3 THIS YEARRR ! THREE!!
So lately Chapito has been talking a lot. He is learning more words and putting words together and talking in sentences. At least he tries. The other day he was watching The Croods and he finished watching it and he went on and on about all the big things that happened. At first Mom and Dad didn't understand what he was talking about till he started acting like the cavemen like people. Pretty funny watching him walk like them and talking. Did I mention he speaks Spanish too? Well he does since he goes to Ama Juanas house(Dads Moms house) everyday. Ama Juana only speaks Spanish so he has to understand and speak it in order to understand Ama. With Chapito, you have to be careful with what you say, he might catch something you say and you'll hear it later from him. So we were all in the car (Me, Queta, Mom, Dad, & Chapito) and we were getting home to park the car in garage and Dad usually pushes the button to open or close it, but Chapito says "Wait, wait, me do it" so we take his seat belt off and he jumps in the front seat and pushes the button, he now does it every time we park the car. *Do not push the button without him , he will get very upset*
Now that Chapito is taller, he gets into everything. So all our snacks and junk food is in the top pantry/cabinet, Chapito has learned to grab the kitchen chair, move it toward the cabinet and then climb onto the chair and then climb onto the counter to get into the pantry. All that he has learned on his now. He also can open the freezer to get ice cream or Popsicle. Queta has Play-Doh on her dresser and he jumps on the bed to get the play-doh( He calls it "cake-cake"). We need to keep things way out of his reach.
Then there is the use of electronics for Chapito. He has a tablet and an iPod, yes 2. The only time you can use them is when he doesn't know or you tell him it is broken and you need to fix it. He has these educational games on the iPod, so he'll walk around the house with the sound blasting and the person singing the ABC's or a song about the letter A. It does get quite annoying but hey' he is learning. Then with the tablet he uses Youtube and the virtual pet Pou. We are not quite sure how but Chapito figured out a way to get Spongebob, Thomas the train, and some educational videos. The video he plays over and over again is "The wheels on the bus". YES that also gets old...
